January Hike: Wetlands and Our Climate, 1/20/24

Hike the American Canyon Wetlands with the Napa Open Space District and learn how this restored tidal marsh serves as a nature-based adaptation to sea level rise.
We’re thrilled to have hike leader Chris Benz joining us on this climate focused hike! Chris is a member of both Napa Climate NOW! and the Napa Sierra Club and has worked with the American Canyon Community and Parks Foundation to share the climate benefits and magnificent habitat of the Wetlands with the community in many past programs. We’ll discuss those benefits and the ongoing restoration work during our walk. Be sure to bring your binoculars for a close-up view of the birdlife!
