Sign up for “Green Change: Our Community’s Transition to Sustainable Living”, a talk by Fabrice Florin, Green Change founder and executive director.
This free event will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 1pm. It will take place in-person at the Outdoor Art Club, One West Blithedale Avenue, Mill Valley, California 94941.
During his 40-minute talk, Fabrice will discuss how he and his wife have transformed their lifestyle and joined a community of like minds to help fight climate change.
He will start by sharing his own family’s journey to a carbon neutral lifestyle, describing their green home and the climate actions they took to reduce their carbon emissions by half in just a few years: using clean energy, riding electric vehicles, eating sustainably and living lightly.
He will then talk about how a group of concerned citizens joined forces to start Green Change, the nonprofit climate action network he founded in 2018, to help their community live more sustainably.
In just five years, they have helped thousands of Bay Area residents take climate action in their own lives, producing community events and online content – and promoting over a hundred environmental, educational and civic partners.
As a multimedia innovator, Fabrice has pioneered a wide range of art, education, news and entertainment projects at Apple, Wikipedia and other digital media ventures. See his online bio.
During his talk, he will show photos and videos of his community’s transition to sustainable living – and share practical tips to help you do the same.
This event is hosted by Bridget Mazzini for The Outdoor Art Club, as part of their speaker series about Civics & Conservation.
