Napa Climate NOW! members collaborate with local government and agency representatives to plan the annual Climate Summit. These events are designed to provide the latest information to guide our region in reducing climate pollutants and adopting resilient strategies.

The Communications Team’s goal is to get NCN!’s message out (educating NCN! members, partners, our elected representatives and the public about the importance of taking action on the climate emergency and how to do it), as well as to provide communications development support for Issue Teams and Committees.

Waste Reduction Team

The Waste Reduction Team’s goal is to minimize climate pollutants associated with organic and inorganic waste. We’re focusing on reducing the use of disposable foodware issue & transitioning to reusable foodware, promoting the Earth-Friendly Eatery/Drinkery program, and exploring other opportunities to reduce & prevent greenhouse gas production.

Government Accountability Team

The Government Accountability Team interacts with government elected officials and staff, as well as appointed commissions and committees, at the local, state, and federal levels to develop policies and advocate for climate action.

Green Screen Team

The Green Screen Team partners with the Napa County Library to present a free program of films about important environmental and climate-oriented topics. Team members vet the films and prepare programs to educate and inspire our community.

This group, led by local high school students, works at both the local and national levels to achieve a livable climate for future generations. Napa Climate NOW! proudly supports and sponsors the group.
