Napa RCD wants to help you plant oaks on your property!Want to plant 1 tree? Want to plant 50? Lots of acorns on the trees this year means Napa RCD will have lots of Napa County acorns from our community acorn drive to give to landowners interested in planting oak trees. We will likely be able to provide valley oak, coast live oak, black oak, and blue oak acorns.
Why plant oaks? Native oaks can benefit vineyards, ranches, residences, commercial areas, and many more sites across Napa County. Native oaks improve soil health, soil stability, groundwater recharge, property value, carbon sequestration, habitat for wildlife, and human health.
