May 24, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

Inaugural Napa Climate Summit, Wednesday May 24, 9 am – 12:30 pm, Performing Arts Center, Napa Valley College (Note: venue has changed from the NVC Little Theater)

The summit is organized by Napa Climate NOW! and sponsored by PG&E. We welcome climate action stakeholders and Napa Valley trailblazers in government, not-for-profit organizations, communications/media and private industry engaged in local projects that create renewable energy and reduce emissions and that are poised to secure available federal and state funds.

Davina Hurt will keynote the event. Hurt was appointed by Governor Newsom and confirmed by the Senate to serve as a board member for the California Air Resources Board (CARB). Hurt chairs the Equity, Access & Inclusion Committee, Bay Area Air Quality Management District Board and served as mayor, vice-mayor and city council member of Belmont, CA.

Rep. Mike Thompson will address the audience from his office in Washington, DC. State Sen. Bill Dodd and Assemblywoman Cecilia Aguiar-Curry will focus on funding sources. And a stellar line-up of local officials and staff members engaged in remarkable projects will share their insights.
