About this Event

During this time of ecological crisis, how do we stay in wise action while maintaining a sense of balance and equanimity? Join Lori Stelling and Mike Coughlin, local leaders of NVIM, for a morning of reflection, connection, and restoration, as we explore ways we can support maintaining life balance as we do our part to heal ourselves, our relationships, our social systems and our world.

This nourishing retreat will include brief teachings, short periods of meditation, gentle movement and reflective exercises within a supportive community of people who care deeply about the current state of our planet. Through the practices of mindful awareness and deep listening (inside and out), we will cultivate the qualities of self-compassion, clarity, equanimity, and wise engagement.

What to Bring: Please bring a mid-morning snack for yourself (filtered water & hot tea will be provided) as well as layered clothing and a notepad/pen.

Suggested Donation: $50 – $25 (No one will be turned away for lack of funds)

Open To All: No prior experience with meditation or activism is required.
