Two local organizations, Get a Grip on Growth and Napa Vision 2050, are hosting a Board of Supervisors candidates forum on Tuesday, February 4 from 6:30-8:00 pm at the Napa County Library, 580 Coombs Street in Napa. The forum is free, open to the public and no RSVP is required.
The candidates able to attend are: Ryan Gregory (District 2), Alfredo Pedroza and Amber Manfree (District 4) and Belia Ramos (District 5). Mariam Aboudamous is unable to attend due to her duties as Vice Mayor of American Canyon and a conflicting city council meeting. We regret the date conflict and will invite her to send a statement that may be read.
This forum will be focused on local environmental issues and provide an opportunity for the public to ask questions and make informed decisions in choosing their supervisors. “Supervisors make long lasting decisions about land use and water security. Each supervisor has a significant impact on the future of Napa County,” said Eve Kahn, Chair of Get a Grip, and Board Director of Napa Vision 2050 and organizer of this event. “We encourage active participation in local issues and wish to provide opportunities for our residents to learn and engage.”
